PLEASE NOTE: As of 1st May, we’ve decided NOT to stay on in Sydney for Monday and Tuesday due to changing accommodation issues. This also means that we’ll not be participating in the Sydney Harbour cruise on Monday night as proposed. We’ll now depat Sydney following the Papal Mass in the afternoon of Sunday 20th July, arriving in Melbourne early morning on Monday 21st July 2008.

Sunday 6th July 2008: VCYAM Hosts Welcoming Mass for International Vietnamese Pilgrims
Monday 7th July 2008: Day tour around Victoria for International Vietnamese Pilgrims
Tuesday 8th July 2008: Day tour around Victoria for International Vietnamese Pilgrims
Wednesday 9th July 2008: Day tour around Victoria for International Vietnamese Pilgrims
Thursday 10th July 2008: Days in the Diocese Events and Festivals
Friday 11th July 2008: Days in the Diocese Events and Final Mass at Telstra Dome
Saturday 12th July 2008: Vietnamese Catechesis and Gala Concert for all Vietnamese Pilgrims around the world visiting Melbourne.
Sunday 13th July 2008: Depart Melbourne for Sydney from 7:30pm
World Youth Day Week
Monday 14th July 2008: Arrives at Sydney, check-in to accomodation, register arrival at WYD08
Tuesday 15th July 2008: Opening Mass of welcome celebrated by George Cardinal Pell followed by concert
Wednesday 16th July 2008: Catechesis (teaching) session and Youth Festival
Thursday 17th July 2008: Arrival and Welcome of the Holy Father plus Catechesis (teaching) session and Youth Festival
Friday 18th July 2008: Catechesis (teaching) session and Station of the Cross
Saturday 19th July 2008: Pilgrimage Walk to Final Mass Site, Evening Vigil “under the stars”
Sunday 20th July 2008: Closing Mass by the Holy Father and concluding events
Sunday 20th July 2008: Depart Sydney for Melbourne from 6pm
Monday 21st July 2008: Arrive Melbourne around 7am
